The legal system shapes nearly every aspect of life — housing, work, family, money — and access to legal counsel determines who gets a fair outcome and who doesn't. Buck Law reserves a meaningful share of practice hours every year for clients who couldn't otherwise hire an attorney.

WHO QUALIFIES
Eligibility for pro-bono assistance.
Buck Law's pro-bono work prioritizes:
Financial need. Clients whose income would otherwise prevent them from hiring an attorney for a matter where one is clearly needed. To qualify for pro-bono litigation, you must also qualify for a fee waiver.
Small businesses. Buck Law values entrepreneurship and is happy to provide a one-hour business consultation for small businesses. To qualify, your household income must be at or below the poverty line.
San Diego County residents. Most cases require local appearances or document filings.
