Meet Tyler J. Buck

Mr. Buck is passionate about providing practical and modern legal services to his clients. He left the law firm of Byron & Edwards in order to pursue a law practice focusing on business startups, debt solutions such as bankruptcy, and affordable litigation services.

Education

Mr. Buck graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth double majoring in Political Science and History. While attending UMass Dartmouth, Mr. Buck competed as a three-sport athlete in Cross-Country, Indoor Track & Field, and Outdoor Track & Field.

Mr. Buck received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth School of Law and graduated cum laude. During law school, Mr. Buck interned for the Committee for Public Counsel Services in Boston, Fall River Office of Corporate Counsel, Malcolm & Cisneros Law Firm (bankruptcy), and Bristol County Juvenile Court. He also volunteered as a student attorney for the University’s small business clinic helping local small businesses incorporate.


In his Spare Time…

Tyler is an avid surfer and also enjoys hiking, backpacking, spear-fishing, target shooting, off-roading in his Subaru Outback, craft beer, and California burritos.

He also volunteers his time with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program providing free legal assistance to the San Diego community. In the past, he also participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Mr. Buck is a member of the State Bar of California and the Massachusetts Bar Association. He is also licensed to practice law in the Central and Southern District federal courts.
